Sol Inspirations Fashion is Responsible Fashion. Ethically made, good for you, and good for the environment.

All Certified Garments:

1. Use post consumer textiles and/or use certified organic and fair trade textiles
2. Are locally made made in the US in a fair/ethical trade
   with no child labor, fair living wage and reasonable work hours.
3. Use natural organic dies if necessary during construction of new garment.
4. Use low usage of water when creating garment
5. Minimal transportation carbon footprint

Recycled/Upcycled:
Items will be made with reclaimed, recycled or re-purposed materials, metals, leather, plastics or fibers. These are often reclaimed from previously made accessories and reworked into new ones. 100% of the metal used must meet this criteria including findings, chains and attachments. All new metal used must be made in the United States from a refinery that only sells recycled metal. No plated base metal will be used.

Low Impact:
Only use non-toxic biodegradable glues or adhesives.
During production no toxic effluents will be released that contaminate water or soil.

Zero-Waste/Waste Reduction:
In the production process, as little materials, metals, water and electricity should be
used as possible. In production phase, attempt to recycle as much waste as possible.

Craft/Artisan:
Products should be made and produced in the United States in a fair/ethical trade
with no child labor, fair living wage and reasonable work hours.
No direct environmental influences that have an impact on people in the workplace
in the form of vapors, gases or dust particles.
